Born 1993 near Ravenna in Italy, HollySpleef, real name Leonardo Passanti, is a skater, dj, producer, sound designer and unsuspected greengrocer currently living in Punta Marina, Italy, on the infamous Riviera Romagnola.

Holly spends his days growing fruit and vegetables and experimenting with them: grafts, tropical species cultivation, sound studies related to plants.

All this, continuing his musical research: "If I'm not in the garden, I'm in the studio producing with some friends”.

In his music productions jazz improvisations are grafted on excerpts from Hip Hop, RnB, Ambient, House, Dub and Nu-Soul.

In 2021 he released his debut album "Garden Grooves" on Funclab Records with publishing and digital distribution by 47011 Records. Currently he both play live and DJ, live set can be solo or with DJ Stivo band. The live solo is a mixture of ambient beats and ethereal soudscapes, often produced by playing plants directly through special microphones. With DJ Stivo, the live set is performed with drums, electronic instruments, keyboards guitar and bass guitar and is definitely Downtempo Hip- hop/Rnb and Nu soul instrumental.
