DJ, VFX Artist, founder and producer of La Matta TV and La Matta Records, the first one is a film studio specializing in video post production, VFX, animation and modeling for TV and film, the second one is the music division of the studio, a label dedicated to researching, restoring and re-releasing Latin funk and library disco-boogie gems.

Born in 1987, in 2011 he left Ortigia and Siracusa to start his research in South America. He spent more than 5 years in Brasil, working in São Paulo. While dedicating his time to his film studio, he also examined in depth the Latin America music and boogie-funk records.

He was very impressed with masters Arthur Verocai, Pedro Santos and Sebastião Tapajós, also with Tango and Candombe of Buenos Aires and Montevideo, and also with Batucada and Latin America Jazz and Funk.

That’s why his dj sets are a colourful blend of Disco, Boogie, Latin Funk, Cumbia, Jazz and World Music.

Now based in Rome, he attended as dj many festivals and parties, such as Ortigia Sound System and Opera Festival in Sicily, Bloc Fest in Cilento (Italy), Morumbi Party in Brazil, Roma Vinyl Village and Villa Ada in Rome, Mamaluca Soul Beach in Puglia and many others.
