DJ, producer and label owner, DJ Octopus is an exponent of the avant-garde house scene in Veneto and a proponent, along with friends and colleagues Steve Murphy, Sagats, Madi Grein, Lucretio and Marieu (The Analogue Cops), of the "Sound of Brenta" that has conquered the club music world, even and especially outside of Italy.

Born Marco Zanin in 1986, he boasts, solo and with Sagats as the duo Die Roh, releases on some of the most influential labels in the house scene in recent years: Vae Victis, Chiwax, Hot Haus/Unknown To The Unknown, Lobster Theremin, Shall Not Fade, Axe Traxx and many others.

He started as a dj at Flow in Padova, Italy, and then played in clubs, festivals and events all over the world: Tresor and Salon Zur Wilden Renate in Berlin, Corsica Studios in London, Closer in Kiev, Macarena Club in Barcelona, but also in Japan, South-Corea, France, Croatia, Austria and Russia. In Italy he has conquered the consoles of most clubs in the center, north and beyond.

He also played in many formats such as Boiler Room and radios such as NTS, Rinse, Rocket Radio and more.

In 2017, he founded the record label Metal Position with Steve Murphy. In 2021, he created a sub-label of Metal Position called Perty Records, publishing and digital distribution by 47011 Records.
